Brent crude oil prices hit $100.5 per barrel due to Middle East tensions, affecting global supply.
Dubai: (RightNow) Rising tensions in the Middle East are driving up global crude oil prices. Brent crude oil has reached $100.5 per barrel, marking a two-month high.
The price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil in the global market has also climbed to $91.65 per barrel. These prices are impacting the global supply and demand for oil.
Due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East, there has been a significant decrease in the number of oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz. On Thursday, only one oil tanker passed through the strait.
This situation is putting pressure on the global oil supply, with further price increases expected. The rise in oil prices is also affecting the global economy.
It is noteworthy that recent conflicts in the Middle East have disrupted oil trade, leading to instability in the global market.
