Babar Azam advances to sixth in ICC ODI rankings, Rashid Khan remains top bowler.
Dubai: (RightNow) The ICC has released the latest ODI player rankings. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell tops the batters’ list, while Babar Azam has moved up to sixth place.
According to the rankings, Ireland’s Harry Tector is seventh, England’s Joe Root has climbed four spots to eighth, and India’s Shreyas Iyer is now thirteenth. Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka, and Salman Ali Agha have also improved by two positions each, reaching fourteenth, fifteenth, and sixteenth places respectively.
In the bowlers’ rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains at the top. England’s Jofra Archer is third, New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner is fourth, and Shaheen Shah Afridi has advanced two spots to seventh. Haris Rauf has also improved by two positions, now ranking twentieth.
In the all-rounders’ list, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai holds the top spot, while New Zealand’s Michael Bracewell has moved up two places to third.
It is noteworthy that ICC rankings are based on players’ performances, reflecting their achievements in international matches.
