Lahore: (RightNow) Veteran actor Javed Sheikh has revealed that he was replaced by actor Faisal Rehman in a film, which made him very emotional. He shared this revelation during a private TV program.

Javed Sheikh explained that after the failure of the film ‘Dhamaka’, he struggled to find leading roles. During this time, he worked with cars and took on minor roles.

He stated that he was offered a secondary role in the film ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’. On the sixth day of shooting, he was informed that the distributor had chosen Faisal Rehman, which left him in tears.

Javed Sheikh further mentioned that five years later, he was cast as the lead in the drama ‘Ankahi’, which became a hit and gained popularity in India as well.

It is noteworthy that the producer who had replaced Javed Sheikh later included him in their new film ‘Choron Ka Dushman’, casting him as the lead after removing Faisal Rehman.
