Government officers must submit digital asset declarations by October 30 via the FBR’s new online system.
Islamabad: (RightNow) A decision has been made to digitize the asset declarations of government officers. The Establishment Division, in collaboration with the FBR (Federal Board of Revenue), has implemented a new online system.
Officers of Grade 17 and above are now required to submit their asset declarations online. The FBR portal has been activated to facilitate officers in submitting their declarations.
The government has informed all ministries and the Presidency about the new digital system. Officers have been instructed to submit their declarations by October 30.
Creating an account on the FBR portal is mandatory for submitting declarations. Officers must create an account using their personal email addresses.
It is important to note that the FBR will conduct risk-based assessments of officers’ assets. Action will be taken against those providing false information.
