Washington: (RightNow) The U.S. Department of Defense has acknowledged losses in the war against Iran in its latest report. The report states that ammunition consumption has significantly depleted strategic reserves.

The Pentagon’s Office of Inspector General report reveals that ongoing military operations against Iran have affected the supply of military equipment. This situation has challenged the position of President Donald Trump’s administration.

According to the document, the cost of U.S. operations against Iran is approximately $33.4 billion, with $22.3 billion allocated to military equipment. The report covers the period from February 28 to the end of June.

The report discloses that during Operation Epic Fury, ammunition consumption exhausted strategic reserves. Structural barriers within the defense industry have also been identified, causing difficulties in timely inventory replenishment.
