Tehran: (RightNow) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian states that US sanctions are aimed at internally destroying Iranian society. He made these remarks during a Ministry of Labor event, accusing the US of creating social chaos through imposed restrictions.

The Iranian President accused some expatriates of collaborating with enemies to incite unrest in the country. He alleged that these elements are attempting to provoke the public.

He further emphasized that Tehran’s adversaries are eager to create chaos within the country. The President urged the public to remain united.

Iran’s oil exports are affected by US naval blockades and stringent sanctions. Limited access to foreign currency is putting pressure on the national economy.

It is noteworthy that the US Treasury announced ‘Operation Economic Outcast’ on August 24, aimed at depriving Iran of foreign trade.
