Islamabad: (RightNow) Significant changes in Islamabad Police as IG Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi is replaced. Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry is appointed as the new IG of Islamabad.

According to the notification, Captain (R) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry has been assigned the responsibilities of IG Islamabad. His appointment marks a leadership change in Islamabad Police.

Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi is appointed as Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). He has been instructed to assume his new responsibilities.

Sources indicate that under administrative changes, DG of NCCIA Syed Khurram Ali has also been replaced. He has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.

It is noteworthy that following government changes in key police positions, significant leadership changes have emerged in Islamabad Police and other institutions.
