Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announces a petrol relief of Rs 100 per liter for motorcycles, rickshaws, and small cars. He states that rising oil prices have increased the burden on the public, and the government will not leave them alone.

The Prime Minister clarifies that owners of motorcycles, rickshaws, chingchi, and vehicles up to 800cc will receive a Rs 100 per liter discount on petrol. Each month, two-wheelers and three-wheelers will get this discount on 20 liters, and vehicles up to 800cc will get it on 30 liters.

He mentions that this relief will start in Islamabad between Monday and Tuesday night, while it will be effective across Pakistan from Wednesday and Thursday night.

This initiative is crucial for providing relief to the public and will reduce their burden. The scheme will particularly benefit those who use their vehicles daily.

It is noteworthy that the government has introduced this special scheme to provide relief to the public, and registration for it has started today. An awareness campaign is also being conducted to inform the public about this scheme.
