Rez Ullah equaled the world record for most sixes on debut by hitting 9 sixes in his innings. Mohammad Abbas also contributed with 42 runs, including 2 sixes.

For the first time in Test cricket, batsmen from numbers 9 to 11 hit a total of 10 sixes against fast bowlers. Rez Ullah’s fifty off 43 balls made him the fastest Pakistani to score a half-century on debut.
