Lahore: (RightNow) PTI member Waqas Mahmood Man has filed a motion in the Punjab Assembly regarding the expenses of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s London trip.

The motion claims that approximately 12.5 million rupees were allegedly spent on the government aircraft’s fuel and other expenses. The public is burdened by inflation, so why were public funds used for a private trip?

Waqas Mahmood Man questioned under what law the expenses for Maryam Nawaz’s trip were paid. He inquired about the authority under which the government aircraft was used for private engagements.

The PTI leader has demanded a legal explanation from the government on this matter. He has asked who approved the alleged expenditure of 12.5 million rupees.
