Islamabad: (RightNow) Nurse Razia Noreen received a 10 lakh rupees award from a Chinese company for saving an infant during a fire at PIMS hospital nursery. The award was presented by the company’s chairperson, Yan Jin, who praised her bravery. Yan Jin stated that Razia Noreen demonstrated responsibility in a challenging situation.

Earlier, on September 3, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Nurse Razia Noreen. The Prime Minister awarded her a cheque of 1 crore rupees and announced a Medal of Service. He stated that the nation admires her courage.

It is important to note that in the PIMS hospital fire incident, 14 children lost their lives in the nursery. Razia Noreen, without regard for her own safety, managed to move an infant to safety.

The nurse’s extraordinary bravery has gained her national recognition. Out of 15 children in incubators, she successfully saved one.
