Islamabad: (RightNow) The notification for the suspension of PIMS Hospital Executive Director Professor Dr. Rana Imran Sikandar has been issued. Dr. Rana Imran Sikandar is suspended for 4 months, while NIH’s Dr. Muhammad Salman is appointed as PIMS Executive Director for 3 years.

According to the notification, Dr. Salman will also remain the Executive Director of NIH. The Prime Minister’s Office has approved action against the security company and officials involved.

Dr. Altaf Hussain is appointed as the Joint Executive Director of PIMS Hospital for 3 months. Administrative notifications regarding other departments of PIMS Hospital have also been issued.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the immediate suspension of the hospital’s Executive Director and 8 others following the PIMS incident. The suspended individuals include the security company and officials.

Additionally, the suspended individuals include Joint Executive Directors Dr. Matahir Shah and Dr. Owais Ali Shah. The Prime Minister had previously issued instructions to the Secretary regarding this matter.
