Tehran: (RightNow) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has proposed a non-aggression and mutual security pact among Islamic countries. This announcement was made at the 40th International Islamic Unity Conference.

The Iranian President urged Muslim nations during the conference’s opening session not to allow their territories to be used against other Islamic countries. Over 600 participants from various countries attended the event.

President Pezeshkian stated that Iran’s defensive stance is not against any Muslim nation. He suggested that Muslim countries should respect each other’s territorial integrity.

According to the Iranian President, attacks on Iran began while negotiations between Tehran and Washington were ongoing. These attacks affected Iranian citizens and infrastructure.

It is noteworthy that the conference will continue until Sunday, with delegations from different countries participating. Various programs will be held in Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad.
