London: (RightNow) Google and the UK government have jointly planned to prevent the formation of white lines in the sky, known as contrails, caused by airplanes. This initiative is named ‘Operation Blue Sky’.

During a trial in Shanwick airspace, minor changes will be made to aircraft flight routes. The aim is to determine if these contrails can be prevented from forming.

Experts state that these white lines, resulting from aircraft fuel combustion, negatively impact the environment. They contribute to global warming and climate change.

Google will provide climate forecasting models using artificial intelligence technology, which will analyze results with satellite data and machine learning technology. This project will continue for 30 months.

It is noteworthy that the duration of these contrails depends on atmospheric temperature, and their presence affects the overall temperature of the Earth.
