Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan’s exports saw a significant increase in July 2026, both monthly and annually. According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, exports rose by 10.39% to reach $2.961 billion.

The report indicates a 32.09% increase in exports compared to June 2026’s $2.242 billion. Textile exports amounted to $1.814 billion, while food exports were $437.078 million.

Pakistan’s imports in July 2026 stood at $6.939 billion, a 0.60% increase from June 2026. Food imports were $805.48 million, and machinery imports were $1.310 billion.

This increase is seen as positive for the national economy, as rising exports can aid currency stability. A reduction in the trade deficit is expected, which is crucial for economic growth.

It is noteworthy that in July 2025, exports were $5.837 billion, showing a significant increase this year. The government aims to further boost exports.
