Islamabad: (RightNow) Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan, has refiled a contempt of court petition regarding his hospital transfer. The petition was submitted to the Supreme Court after addressing previous objections.

The petition names Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, and Information Minister Atta Tarar as respondents. It demands Imran Khan’s transfer to Shifa Hospital for medical tests.

The Supreme Court Registrar’s Office had initially returned the petition due to objections, stating that the list of allegations was not sent to the accused individuals.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that a meeting with the Supreme Court Registrar resolved the objections, and the petition has now been assigned a number.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Uzma Khan has also filed an appeal for an expedited hearing, requesting the Supreme Court to schedule the case for immediate consideration.
