Islamabad: (RightNow) Federal Information Minister Ataa Tarrar emphasizes the necessity of combating misinformation and misleading content in the digital age. He states that a professional, timely, and responsible communication strategy is essential.

As part of the 54th Common Training Program, trainee officers visited the Digital Communication Department. The delegation met with Federal Information Minister Ataa Tarrar and received a briefing on government communication.

The delegation included 217 officers from 12 different groups, comprising 117 men and 100 women. The trainee officers were informed about the national narrative and public awareness.

The Information Minister discussed the changing media landscape with the trainee officers. The officers found the briefing by the Digital Communication Department useful and expressed interest in government communication.

It is noteworthy that effective government communication strengthens public trust in state institutions. Ataa Tarrar urged young officers to prioritize honesty and national interest.
