Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, equally popular in Pakistan and India, received numerous accolades including the Presidential Award. His Qawwalis and Ghazals (poetic songs) remain vibrant today.

Over 125 audio albums of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan have been released, and his name is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

His Qawwali ‘Dam Mast Qalandar Ali Ali’ achieved global fame, and his artistry brought a modern dimension to Qawwali.

It is noteworthy that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan passed away on August 16, 1997, in London due to a heart attack, yet his art remains alive.
