In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the Parliament House, Presidential Palace, and other government buildings are illuminated in green and white. The decorations have become a focal point for citizens, enhancing the city’s beauty.
In Karachi, the enthusiasm for Independence Day is at its height. Key locations, including the Founder of Pakistan’s Mausoleum and Shahrah-e-Faisal, are specially decorated. Citizens are celebrating with national songs and flags.
In Lahore, special events are organized for the lively citizens. The Punjab Assembly is glowing with green lights. The government has completed comprehensive security arrangements, with 28 thousand police officers on duty.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan’s Independence Day is celebrated on August 14. On this occasion, flag hoisting, cake-cutting ceremonies, and various programs are held nationwide.
