Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM announces Islamabad march on September 27 for Imran Khan’s release, expecting 2 million participants.
Peshawar: (RightNow) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has initiated a street movement towards Islamabad. He launched the campaign from Khyber district, claiming that 2 million people will join the march.
Addressing workers in Jamrud, the Chief Minister stated that the street movement has begun from Bab-e-Khyber and will conclude in Islamabad on September 27. He named the movement ‘With Justice’.
Sohail Afridi emphasized the need to free their founding chairman and to establish a law that is equal for everyone. He stated that justice must bring the oppressor to the stand.
He further mentioned that September 27 is the day to change history and destiny. The membership of the Imran Khan Release Movement has reached 530,000, with the highest membership from Punjab.
It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister announced last week in a rally in Peshawar that a march would be held on September 27 for Imran Khan’s release.
