Karachi: (RightNow). The Sindh government announces a public holiday on the 79th Independence Day, allowing citizens to enjoy a 3-day break. On August 14, all government and semi-government offices across the province will remain closed.

The holiday applies to all corporations and local councils. The government has issued a notification stating that all government offices will be completely shut.

Essential service providers will remain open to ensure the public does not face any inconvenience.
