These genetically modified dogs were created by the American company, ConDread Companion Sciences. They are named Bailey and Alfie, and the company’s founder, Matt Walker, is himself allergic to dogs.
Matt Walker stated that after the genetic modification, he was able to spend time with the dogs without experiencing allergy symptoms. Researchers indicate that further studies are needed for the widespread use of this technology.
