Karachi: (RightNow) The price of gold per tola (11.66 grams) in Pakistan has surged again today. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association reports a PKR 5,100 increase, bringing the new price to PKR 454,336 per tola.

In the global market, gold prices have also risen. The price of gold increased by USD 51, making the global market price USD 4,319 per ounce.

Locally, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by PKR 8,573. In the global market, gold saw a USD 113 rise, reaching USD 4,268 per ounce.

The recent increase in gold prices is causing concern among investors both locally and globally. This rise could impact the economy and affect investor interest.

It is noteworthy that gold prices have been consistently rising for the past three days. Over these three days, the price of gold has increased by a total of PKR 26,400.
