Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistani spinner Nauman Ali has been selected by English county club Lancashire for the last six matches of the County Championship.

Joining the Lancashire squad, Nauman Ali will gain cricket experience in England. The 39-year-old has taken 101 wickets in 22 Test matches.

Lancashire club director Mark Chilton stated that Nauman’s impressive red-ball cricket record will benefit the club. His first match is against Northamptonshire on August 20.

This development is significant for Pakistani cricket as Nauman Ali’s experience can benefit young players. His inclusion is expected to improve the team’s performance.

It is noteworthy that Nauman Ali debuted at the age of 34 and took 9 wickets in the 2024 series against England.
