Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistan cricket captain Babar Azam has dropped out of the ICC Test rankings top 10. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the rankings with England’s batter Harry Brook securing the top position, while Steve Smith moved to second place.

Babar Azam has fallen 5 places to 15th position. Saud Shakeel has risen 15 places to 18th position, thanks to his recent performances.

Pakistan’s wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has dropped 7 places to 33rd, and Abdullah Shafique has fallen 8 places to 35th. Shan Masood has also dropped 3 places to 41st.

In the recent first Test against England, Imam-ul-Haq’s performance was not impressive, resulting in a drop to 58th position.

It is important to note that ICC Test rankings are based on players’ performances, with top performers gaining advancement.
