Muzaffarabad: (RightNow) Voting has commenced at 54 polling stations in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s legislative assembly constituencies LA-27 and LA-28. The Election Commission announces that voting will continue uninterrupted until 5 PM.

According to election commission officials, all arrangements have been completed to ensure the voting process proceeds smoothly. Voting is currently underway at a total of 54 polling stations.

It should be noted that polling was postponed on August 2 due to adverse weather conditions. The Pakistan Muslim League (N) has already secured 23 seats, while the Pakistan Peoples Party has won 9 seats.

The second phase of elections in the Muzaffarabad division took place on August 2, but some polling stations were postponed due to road closures preventing the delivery of polling materials and staff.

The Election Commission states that the third phase of elections will be held in Poonch on August 10.
