Sindh Minister Saeed Ghani announces financial aid and treatment for HIV-affected children, forming a committee of top doctors.
Karachi: (RightNow) Sindh Minister for Labor and Human Resources Saeed Ghani announces full treatment facilities for all HIV-affected children. Parents will receive monthly financial aid ranging from Rs 40,000 to Rs 80,000.
Saeed Ghani, during a meeting with a delegation led by Human Rights Commission of Pakistan Vice Chairman Qazi Khizr, stated that an independent board will ensure the transparency of the welfare fund for the affected. A committee of top doctors will be formed for treatment.
The provincial minister assured that affected children and their families will not be left alone, and strict action will be taken against those responsible. So far, HIV has been confirmed in 120 children, with 81 registered under social security.
This initiative aims to improve the lives of these children and their parents, helping them cope with social pressures. The government is making efforts to support them.
It is important to note that HIV is a deadly disease affecting the immune system. The Sindh government has taken these steps to protect children.
