Dubai: (RightNow) The International Cricket Council has imposed an 8-year ban on US cricketer Bodugam Akhilesh Reddy for violating the Anti-Corruption Code.

According to the ICC statement, Bodugam Akhilesh Reddy committed three violations of the Anti-Corruption Code, leading to this action against him.

Bodugam Akhilesh breached the Anti-Corruption Code during the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2025, resulting in severe action against him.

The ICC states that the ban will commence on November 21, 2025, after which he will be unable to participate in cricket.

It is noteworthy that the ICC Anti-Corruption Code aims to keep cricket free from corruption and ensure the transparency of the sport.
