Mumbai: (RightNow) A claim has emerged about the secret marriage of Indian filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and actress Urmila Matondkar. In the 1990s, rumors of their dating circulated.

According to Indian media reports, senior journalist Jyoti Venkatesh has claimed that the two allegedly married in a temple in Andhra Pradesh.

Jyoti Venkatesh revealed on a YouTube channel that this information was provided by Chiranjeevi on the set of the film Gentleman. He further mentioned that Chiranjeevi also gave the priest’s contact number.

Upon contacting Urmila about this claim, she became emotional and questioned how they could write about it. Ram Gopal Varma refused to comment.

It is noteworthy that Urmila and Ram Gopal Varma have worked together in several films, including Rangeela, Daud, and Satya. Urmila wanted a legal marriage, which led to their separation.
