Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister’s advisor Rana Sanaullah has accused the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of rigging in the Azad Kashmir elections. He stated that PPP collaborated with a banned committee to create chaos and attempted to sabotage the electoral process.

Rana Sanaullah mentioned that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secured 23 out of 45 seats in Azad Kashmir, achieving a simple majority. According to him, the people of Kashmir voted for Nawaz Sharif’s vision and expressed confidence in PML-N’s leadership.

Federal Minister Amir Maqam stated that the second phase of the Azad Kashmir elections was successfully completed, with the public participating actively, showing trust in democratic values. He described the electoral process as transparent and organized.

Rana Sanaullah claimed that PPP had already prepared a narrative of rigging before the elections. He asserted that PPP’s allegations were unproven and merely political tactics.

It is noteworthy that following PML-N’s victory in the Azad Kashmir elections, Rana Sanaullah criticized PPP. He demanded that PPP investigate the incidents of the previous day.
