Islamabad: (RightNow) The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, has emphasized the importance of Pakistan-Iran brotherly relations in a message. He stated that the ties between the two countries are as high as the peaks of Damavand and K2.

The Iranian Ambassador highlighted that the friendship between Iran and Pakistan is based on centuries-old shared history, culture, and beliefs. Iran was the first to recognize Pakistan, and Pakistan was the first to recognize Iran.

He further mentioned that in the past two years, the relations between the two countries have reached new heights. The Pakistani Parliament passed a resolution in support of Iran on the first day of Israeli aggression.

The Iranian Ambassador noted that high-level exchanges between the two countries have further strengthened relations. Visits, including President Masoud Pezeshkian’s trip to Pakistan, have given new dimensions to the friendship.

It is noteworthy that the friendship between the two countries can serve as an example of mutual respect and good neighborliness in the region. The participation of a high-level Pakistani delegation in the Iranian Supreme Leader’s ceremony also highlighted the importance of these relations.
