Zurich: (RightNow) FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced the termination of the FIFA Forward Enterprise plan. He stated that the plan created divisions in football and is no longer in the sport’s best interest.

Gianni Infantino explained that the plan was based on the support of the majority of FIFA member countries. After considering all opinions, it was decided not to proceed with the plan.

The statement declared that no organization can claim to represent 211 member countries. FIFA does not intend to sell and will never do so.

The FIFA President clarified that his goal has always been unity and the improvement of football. All relevant parties will be brought to the table, and the mission to promote football will continue.

It is important to note that the FIFA Forward plan has been officially terminated, and there will be no further developments on it.
