Islamabad High Court transfers and appoints judges, including four additional district judges.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The Islamabad High Court has issued notifications for the transfer and appointment of judges in the district judiciary. Four additional district and session judges have been transferred.
According to the notification, Additional District Judge Muhammad Afzal has been given additional charge of the Gender-Based Violence Court. Additional District Judge Muhammad Sohail has been transferred from Session Division West to East.
Similarly, Javed Iqbal Supra has also been appointed from West to East. Raja Asif Mahmood and Qudratullah have been transferred from East to West.
Transfers of two senior civil judges have also been made. Muhammad Abbas Shah has been moved from West to East, while Malik Aman has been transferred from East to West.
It is noteworthy that transfers and appointments of 14 civil judge-cum-magistrates in the Islamabad Judicial Service have also been carried out.
