New York: (RightNow) Meta has introduced a new feature for WhatsApp Web and Windows app. This feature allows users to view PDF files without downloading them.

The company announced that Adobe Acrobat support has been added to WhatsApp Web and Windows app. This enables users to view files directly on their laptop or desktop.

WhatsApp’s Android beta version is testing a birthday reminder feature. Meta stated that a partnership with Adobe allows users to highlight and annotate PDFs.

This feature is now available worldwide for WhatsApp Web and desktop app users. The company stated that over 3 billion users can benefit from this feature.

It is noteworthy that PDF files remain secure under end-to-end encryption on WhatsApp. Additional features have been introduced, including account creation on iPad and a redesign for CarPlay.
