Mastung: (RightNow) A shooting incident in Mastung has resulted in the deaths of Session Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar and his security guard. Police report that the incident occurred near the National Highway, injuring Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari and another individual.

According to police, the attack happened near Wali Khan Pathak when the judges’ vehicle was fired upon. The judges were traveling from Quetta to Mastung Session Court. The injured have been immediately transported to the hospital.

Police have initiated an investigation and a search operation is underway in the area. No arrests have been made so far.

This incident raises concerns about the security of judiciary officials. The attack has instilled fear and panic among the public.

It is noteworthy that attacks on judiciary officials have occurred previously in Balochistan. Such incidents could further deteriorate the law and order situation.
