Islamabad: (RightNow) The renowned Marriott Hotel in Islamabad has been found lacking in fire safety arrangements. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a notice to the hotel.

The CDA’s Fire Prevention Department inspected the hotel’s fire safety measures. Following the inspection, the hotel management has been instructed to complete necessary safety measures.

A notice has been issued to the hotel owner, Hassan Hashwani. The CDA has ordered improvements in the building’s fire safety arrangements.

According to documents, the notice was issued under the Islamabad Fire Prevention and Life Safety Regulations 2010. The aim is to ensure fire prevention and emergency safety measures.

It is noteworthy that the CDA has recently tightened enforcement of fire safety laws. Several major buildings have faced action for violations.
