Islamabad: (RightNow) The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has issued a notice to Noreen Niazi, sister of the PTI founder. She is instructed to appear before the agency on July 20.
According to details, Noreen Niazi received the notice under Section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code. She is required to record her statement at the agency’s office on July 20.
The notice alleges that Noreen Niazi attempted to defame state institutions by spreading false news. She is asked to appear at the Cyber Crime Office in Islamabad’s Sector 13 at 12 PM on July 20.
This notice is issued under allegations of spreading false and inflammatory content against state institutions on social media. Failure to appear may result in legal action under Section 174 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
