Karachi: (Right Now News) Pakistan has completed planning for a 500 MW floating solar project. This project will be installed on Keenjhar Lake in Sindh.

The aim of this project is to promote renewable energy and reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels. The $243 million project is expected to generate 861.91 GWh of electricity annually.

According to officials, the project will be completed through a competitive bidding process under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction model. The completion of the project will help alleviate the country’s energy crisis.

This project will not only increase energy production but also mark a significant step towards eco-friendly energy sources. It can potentially free the country’s economy from dependence on imported fuel.
