Lahore: (Right Now News) Following a decrease in petroleum prices, public transport fares have been reduced.
Public transporters and several transport companies have announced a 25% reduction in fares, lowering the fare from Lahore to Karachi from 7190 to 5390 rupees.
Further details reveal that the fare from Lahore to Islamabad has been reduced from 2880 to 2160 rupees, Lahore to Murree from 3500 to 2620, Lahore to Multan from 2630 to 1970, and Lahore to Bahawalpur from 2630 to 1970 rupees.
The Pakistan Mini Mazda Association also announced a 25% fare reduction, stating that this decision will be implemented immediately.
It is noteworthy that transporters had previously increased fares due to rising petroleum prices, which have now been reversed.
