Islamabad: (RightNow) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi criticized Maulana Fazlur Rehman in a Senate session. Naqvi deemed Maulana’s recent statements inappropriate, stating respect for him is no longer warranted.

Naqvi accused Maulana of speaking against the state when his demands are unmet. During his speech, JUI senators created a commotion.

The Interior Minister addressed PTI Senator Ali Zafar, saying these individuals once urged for governor rule. He added that no jobs or funds will be provided by the state now.

It is noteworthy that Maulana Fazlur Rehman objected to Naqvi’s recent visit to Iran. Maulana questioned the necessity of the Interior Minister’s presence there.

Naqvi clarified that the visit was not for a defense agreement but to find solutions to current issues. The Prime Minister has entrusted him with certain matters.
