Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister’s advisor Rana Sanaullah addressed the Senate, emphasizing the state’s maternal role and condemning offensive language. He criticized recent statements by Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Rana Sanaullah described Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s remarks as painful for the nation and stressed the need for caution regarding martyrs. He stated that careless statements about the state are unacceptable.
He mentioned that Senator Kamran Murtaza said objections would cease if the state’s behavior improved. After granting the state a maternal status, offensive language cannot be used. Personal ego should not overshadow collective interest in discussions about the state.
