Karachi: (RightNow) Karachi Police Chief Azad Khan informed the Senate Human Rights Committee that 78 statements have been recorded in the Mir Reza case, but no leads have been found.

The police chief stated that Mir Reza died on July 28. Blood and pistol evidence were found at the scene. Two investigation teams were formed, but no conclusions were reached.

Senator Quratulain Marri questioned whether Mir Reza emptied his bank account before his death. The police chief confirmed this and mentioned that Reza ordered a car online that day.

Azad Khan noted that hydrochloric acid marks were found on Reza’s shirt. His parents suspect murder, so the investigation continues.

It is noteworthy that Mir Reza suffered a loss of 45 million rupees in July, and pistol marks were found on both his hands.
