Karachi: (RightNow) Police Surgeon Dr. Samia testified before the judicial commission, revealing pressure to declare Mir Reza’s death a suicide. She noted chemical marks on his face and left hand, indicating foul play.

The seventh session of the judicial commission, led by Justice Umar Sial, took place in Karachi. Dr. Samia recorded her statement before the commission, detailing the pressure she faced.

The commission’s head questioned Dr. Samia about any directives from the session court. She responded that she was instructed to meet Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan.

It is important to note that the case of 25-year-old trader Mir Reza Ali Mir began in July 2026. His body was found in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, initially ruled a suicide by police.

Dr. Samia also disclosed receiving threats during the investigation, with her home address shared on social media.
