81 government schools in Rawalpindi scored zero in 9th-grade exams, prompting action against school heads.
Rawalpindi: (RightNow) The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi reports zero percent results for 81 government schools in the 9th-grade exams. These exams were conducted in 184 schools, with several schools showing zero percent results.
According to the board’s report, 121,739 students participated in the 9th-grade exams, out of which only 45,724 students passed. The success rate stood at 37.56%.
Authorities have decided to take action against the heads of the 81 government schools with zero percent results. Among these, Rawalpindi district ranked first, Attock second, and Chakwal third.
These results highlight the decline in educational standards, increasing pressure on educational authorities. There is a growing need for measures to improve educational quality.
It is noteworthy that last year also saw a concerning drop in Rawalpindi Board results, prompting educational experts to express their concerns.
