Peshawar: (RightNow) KP Chief Minister Sohaib Afridi has strongly reacted to Maryam Nawaz’s statement. He stated that labeling three provinces as terrorism bases is akin to giving Modi and India a clean chit.

Afridi further mentioned that this statement has affected Pakistan’s global stance. According to him, biased behavior against provinces is dangerous for Pakistan’s unity.

Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari responded, saying that the KP government is trying to hide its performance shortcomings. She added that efforts are ongoing to strengthen law enforcement agencies in Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz stated that peace has been restored in the Kacha area with the help of the army and Sindh government. She further added that there will be no compromise on the province’s security.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, at an Artificial Intelligence Hub event in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz mentioned that steps are being taken to eliminate threats from the province’s border areas.
