Quetta: (RightNow) An anti-terrorism court has remanded former police surgeon Dr. Ayesha to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for three days. Dr. Ayesha was presented by the CTD in the anti-terrorism court.

CTD officials requested the court for Dr. Ayesha’s remand. Judge Syed Ali Mubeen granted a three-day remand to the CTD.

Dr. Ayesha was arrested for allegedly holding a press conference in support of banned organizations. She is accused of promoting their narrative.

This case is significant as it aims to curb the promotion of narratives by banned organizations.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Ayesha is charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act. Her case is also under consideration at the NCC-I.
