Karachi: (RightNow) Sindh’s senior minister, Sharjeel Memon, states that only those elected by the people can make national decisions. He criticizes those with artificial mandates.

Speaking in the Sindh Assembly, Memon highlights significant progress in health, education, and energy sectors due to the 18th Amendment. He criticizes federal ministers for opposing the amendment.

Memon notes that over 3,500 megawatts of electricity are generated from Thar, benefiting the entire country. Energy from Sindh’s resources aids in meeting national energy needs.

The senior minister invites those with objections to the 18th Amendment to discuss them in Parliament. He asserts that the Sindh Assembly can provide constitutional and legal responses.

It is noteworthy that Memon advises federal ministers to seek public votes to gain the right to make national decisions.
