Haripur: (RightNow) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi met with Ayat Noor’s father in Haripur and offered condolences. He assured that the culprits will face severe punishment.

Ayat Noor’s father thanked the Chief Minister, stating that the people of Haripur stand with him. He demanded public execution for the culprits.

Sohail Afridi promised to make an example of the perpetrator and emphasized strong measures to prevent such crimes. He assured that the government stands with the victims and no negligence will occur.

The Chief Minister urged the courts not to grant any relief to the culprits. He announced that the Child Protection Bill will be named after Ayat Noor.

It is noteworthy that Ayat Noor was abducted, assaulted, and murdered. Her body was found in a well, causing widespread outrage in the city.
