Senator Parvez Rasheed urges a ban on elite private treatment to improve public hospitals.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan Muslim League (N) Senator Parvez Rasheed has urged a ban on private treatment for the elite. He believes this will improve the condition of public hospitals.
He stated that tragedies like PIMS have become a daily occurrence in Pakistan. The solution lies in imposing bans and conducting strict inquiries, though past inquiries have failed to resolve issues.
Parvez Rasheed demanded that everyone, including senators, judges, and bureaucrats, should receive treatment in public hospitals, avoiding private healthcare.
He further suggested that government employees should use public transport, which would enhance the transport service.
It is noteworthy that the CMH’s quality is attributed to military officers and lower staff receiving treatment under the same system, ensuring better standards.
