Nazia Hassan gained fame at the age of 15 with the song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’. She revolutionized South Asian pop music. Her song ‘Disco Deewane’ achieved international acclaim.

The duo of Nazia and Zoheb Hassan released albums like ‘Boom Boom’ and ‘Young Tarang’, giving Pakistani pop music a new identity. Their music crossed borders.

Nazia Hassan was not only a singer but also a lawyer and social activist. In 1991, she was appointed as a cultural ambassador for UNICEF. Her contributions were recognized at every level.

It is noteworthy that Nazia Hassan passed away on August 13, 2000, due to cancer in London. Her music remains alive, and her name will always shine.
